Manages application builds and deployments for multiple product lines in an efficient and effective manner. Responsible for configuring various development, test and production environments and deploying code to these environments. Assists in the integration of the release process with the existing SDLC process and helps manage the scheduling and coordination of releases. Creates and maintains configuration models and configuration management databases. Provides guidance to development teams regarding branch and merging strategy for multiple source control projects. Functions as Lead Software Configuration & Release Analyst in a team that is primarily responsible for several product lines along with release planning and deployment readiness. Works with Visual Source Safe and Team Foundation Server. Applies knowledge or experience with in .NET, ASP.NET, WCF services, SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services, XSLT, Java, Visual Basic.NET, SharePoint and FoxPro. Requirements Requirements: M.S. in computer science or engineering and 2 years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty of software development or configuration; or B.S. in computer science and 5 years experience in the alternate occupations of software engineer, applications or software developer, programmer analyst, or any other closely related software position. Specific Requirements: 5 years concurrent experience and progressively responsible experience in the specialty. Concurrent experience in NET 3.0, ASP.NET, WCF services, SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services, XSLT, XML-FO , Visual Basic.NET, SharePoint and FoxPro. Must have concurrent experience leading teams of developers. Must have excellent trouble-shooting skills. Job in Baton Rouge, LA at Amedisys, Inc. No OT, 40 hours M-F.
